About The Book

WABP VERBAL APTITUDE FOR PRIMARY SCHOOLS is a series of six books carefully prepared for pupils in the primary (basic) school classes. These books are written by seasoned teachers whose teaching experience spans over twenty-six years, both in Ghana and Nigeria. In line with the demand of the Universal Basic Education (U.B.E) programme, the books aim at building a wealth of strong vocabulary in pupils at the early stage of learning. The exercises are presented in such a way as to make the pupils think more as they move up to higher classes. Emphasis is placed on: _explaining basic technical skills in learning English Language; _guiding pupils to discover the accurate meaning of complex English Language words; _helping pupils construct good and meaningful sentences; and _helping to sharpen the pupils' reasoning skills. These books are sure to help pupils pass both internal and External examinations on verbal aptitude.
