Bleeding Scar

-      A novel

Rape traumatizes. The fear of stigmatization leave victims physically and psychologically defeated, especially in a society where the rapists prance around as you may, leaving dismay in their wake. Bleeding Scar is an emotional tale of the molested, raped and abused. The novel provides strength to victims and offers help on how to live a successful life despite the trauma of rape as inspired by the protagonist.

Linda Lucks, saddled with a last name that reflected nothing of her life, witnessed a bomb explosion that claimed the lives of her family at the age of sixteen. Linda lost her home and herself. She lost the innocence of youth and blissful ignorance that was her old life. Pushed into the streets to scramble for survival among the jackals and the hyenas, Linda made for blurry destinations, clawing and fighting.

Rescued and comforted by the family of her dreams, Linda soon found out that dreams were best for the night; the day was for actualizing them. She armed herself with all her wits. But would it be enough to conquer the callous villainy waiting patiently for her? Sometimes, things are never the way they seem.

Find out how the protagonist fought her way to victory in the pages of this book that wishes to stop the wounded from bleeding.

In the Art of Hero Worship

... a chant (rant) of insanity and sanity

-      An epic poem

This is an epic poem with a lengthy narrative set in an ancient settlement in Ife existing in today’s Osun State in the western part of Nigeria. This poem typically details extraordinary feats and adventures of Aduke from a distant past. The story involves forces of nature and uses long character arcs. The protagonist, Aduke meet with obstacles and disaster, action and triumph, believed to be an ancient witch settled at the basement of a forest with a thousand demons.

The Cripple Goes To School

-      A play

The play begins with the birth of a rejected seed, planted by ignorance, watered by the unknown and harvested by strangers. What a strange paradox! A physically challenged and disabled child was born blind and crippled but denied the right to live even at birth. Unwanted by his own father, abandoned by his mother, rejected by his community… could it be a curse or a blessing?

Every child should be given the right to live and the right to education. Whether normal or physically challenged. In him lies the potential to change the world. This play is highly instructive, informative, and revealing. It will bring an end to child rejection and abandonment in our society

Guilty

-      A play

Three University students wanted urgent cash for a jolly Christmas. They planned a harmless robbery but in the process, a man was killed! The Police were fingered but the officer involved was corrupt. He received a bribe and freed the suspects.

Stakes changed when the DPO revisited the case on demand of the masses. The corrupt officer was exposed and dismissed. Men at large were caught and detained but the dismissed officer’s name was still on the pay roll. Another corrupt officer was receiving the dismissed officer’s salary for about six months before the bubble bust…

The CP and the IG were hinted but the acclaimed saint, Mr. DPO who enforced disciplinary action on his colleague was found to be the thief! He who comes to equity must come with clean hands. But what happens when it seems everyone is GUILTY… let the court decide!
